Welcome to the Local Agency Workers' Compensation Excess (LAWCX) Joint Powers Authority's  Website!

LAWCX was formed on July 1, 1992, as a state-wide joint powers authority.  LAWCX is designed to provide all services necessary and appropriate for the establishment, operation, and maintenance of a joint program of excess workers’ compensation coverage for its member agencies.
